The Harvey Floyd - Greenville Chapter of Us TOO is a member of the Us TOO International network of local chapters. Located in Greenville SC, our chapter was founded in 1992 by upstate prostate cancer survivors, their spouses/partners and families to serve prostate cancer survivors. The Greenville Chapter as part of Us TOO International is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to communicating timely and reliable information enabling informed choices regarding detection and treatment of prostate cancer. Ultimately, Us TOO strives to enhance the quality of life for all those affected by prostate cancer.
In addition to providing education, support, and outreach programs to the men of upstate SC, Us TOO is an active advocate for patients. We are committed to making sure patients have access to the programs, medications, treatments and health care professionals they need for the best possible outcomes.
The Harvey Floyd Chapter of Us TOO is committed to providing prostate cancer education to minorities and others in the underserved communities. The Greenville Chapter partners with local hospitals and other community and health agencies to conducts outreach activities which include educational and awareness programs as well as free screening for men at risk for prostate cancers.
The UPSTATE PROSTATE CANCER ALLIANCE is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization as approved by the Internal Revenue Service. Founded by Johnny Payne and Bob Milks in February 2008. Our mission is to operate as a partner to the Harvey Floyd - Greenville Chapter of Us TOO International in promoting prostate cancer awareness and education to the communities of Upstate South Carolina. We will provide information on detection and treatment options to equip individuals in making informed decisions related to their prostate health.
The purpose of the organization shall be to provide Upstate South Carolina with awareness and education as to the dangers of prostate cancer. This include providing information needed to make informed decisions related to prostate cancer screening and treatment options. This will be accomplished by promoting and implementing programs focused on education and screening men on prostate cancer.
Funds donated to and earned by the Upstate Cancer Alliance will be used by the Harvey Floyd - Greenville Chapter of Us TOO International to educate and promote prostate cancer awareness in Upstate South Carolina.
